Happy Easter: the story of D’Joya’s St Peter’s Square

Happy Easter to all of our art-loving readers (for those who don’t celebrate this holiday, here’s hoping you are enjoying a pleasant day off anyway!).

On this highly commemorated weekend of the Christian calendar, we would like to tell you the story of D’Joya’s St Peter’s Square Miniature ring, a one-of-a-kind, mysterious and moving piece of wearable art inspired by one of the most important landmarks of Christian spirituality. This unique ring will be shown this week in Monaco, as part of D’Joya’s showcase at Top Marques Monaco (topmarquesmonaco.com).

A striking feat of architecture in one of the world’s most celebrated centres of religion, St Peter’s Square is recreated in this impressive ring, at the centre of which is a clear dome filled with an incredibly intricate version of Christ on the cross, itself placed on an unheated Burmese sapphire. This miniature of Jesus Christ was painstakingly crafted, everything from his expression to his flowing hair wonderfully captured by the artist as a symbol of holy beauty. A brilliant ring for anyone who appreciates the complexities of the fine art of miniature or any believer who wants a truly extraordinary expression of their faith, the St Peter’s Square Ring is charming and compelling – a perfect combination of luxurious materials and precise craftsmanship that makes it a piece that will always attract the right attention.
